Making mental wellbeing a priority in life

I’m reflecting every day on my work and I am thinking why do people stay in unhappy and unpleasant circumstances when they could change their lives easily and improve their wellbeing massively.

The reality is: we all have a genuine desire to be well in life, only that putting it into practice can be a bit of a struggle.

Imagine you have a dilemma… Or a little upset. 

You are “too busy” to deal with this problem or you think it’s nothing and will go away. 

It remains unresolved. Another issue added to the heavy weight of negative experiences you carry within your heart.

In time, they overwhelm you and one day you collapse. 

That can be a tough moment. I lived it in my own personal life and I’ve seen it many times in my client’s lives too. 

How do you pick up your pieces? How do you create time and space to finally take care of yourself? How do you make sense of it all? How do you unlearn all that’s not needed in your life anymore? 

Perhaps you can talk to a mentor or a coach, you can see a counsellor, a psychotherapist, or you can try mindfulness or hypnotherapy.

I studied the human mind at universities for 15 years, but I would have never integrated these tools together if I wouldn’t have learned what an amazing tool they create together from my own personal development and from my client work for almost 2 decades. 

It was there where I learned that no therapeutic modality can resolve the variety of our human problems and that people benefited from a more holistic approach, where we looked not to fit their manifestations in a set of criteria for mental illness, but we searched to understand how their minds have been programmed to function in their early years of life, how their human nature has played a role in their movement development and how the world systems affected their lives.

This finding has been magical in my work. A real breakthrough.
